.T01 - Yamaha TX16W wave files
The Yamaha TX16W wave files have an extension like .Wnn, where again nn is a number.
Notes:
- The format only supports 16, 33 or 50 kHz sample frequency and no tuning or rootkey parameters so when saving to TX16W .W01 files, the closest of the three rates will be selected and you must manually tune it when you're using it in an instrument on your synth... Alternatively you may resample it to either of 16,33,50kHz before saving it.
- Before reading a directory of files on your synthesizer, make sure they have all unique extensions like .W01, .W02, .W02 et c.
- When saving files, be aware that the TX16W only supports a maximum of 128K samples in the 'attack' plus 128K samples in the 'loop', if the waveform is longer then it will be truncated.
